Two Arrested After Armed Robbery of Juveniles in Knoxville

On Friday, May 4, 2018, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Knoxville teens, who had robbed two four juveniles. The juveniles were camping in the backyard of a residence in the 500 block of Corum Road. Around 9pm, two 19-year-old suspects approached them and demanded their wallets and other personal items. The suspect identified as Tray Parton brandished a handgun and struck two of the juveniles with it during the robbery. The second suspect, David Sanders, returned to the area after the robbery and was arrested. Parton was found outside his residence at 223 South Wooddale Road around 11pm in his truck. He was taken into custody following a short pursuit. Both with lodged in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility.
