On Wednesday, May 9, 2018, around 12:15pm, Knox County Deputy Claude Hudson received information that electricity was being stolen at a residence on KY 3437 in Gray. When Deputy Hudson arrived, he observed someone run through the back door into the residence. The subject, identified as 34-year-old Dustin Walters, was discovered covered upon bed, looking to be asleep. He refused to comply with commands to uncover himself and show his hands. Deputy Hudson removed him from the bed. Outside the residence, the meter was observed to have been removed from the base. Walters was charged with theft of services, resisting arrest, and menacing. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
