On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, Kentucky State Police arrested an escapee from the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Jeremy Boggs, 30, along with 24-year-old Brian Olson were working a garbage detail in March when they escaped. Boggs was located at a residence on Salyers Branch Road in Elliot County. He was lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center.
