Floyd Central High School sophomore Chad Bates has been chosen for the 2018 Rogers Scholar program. To be considered for the program, a student must be a sophomore in the 45 county service area and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, as well as want to develop their develop their skills in leadership, technology, entrepreneurship and community service. Bates will attend a five-day program at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky this summer with 29 other Rogers Scholars.
