The co-conspirator in the shooting of a Knoxville Police Officer was arrested on Friday, May 11, 2018. Officers with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and the Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force arrested 31-year-old Kristin Denise King without incident at a residence on Middlebrook Pike around noon. She is charged with facilitation of unlawful possession of a weapon, facilitation of attempted first degree murder, and facilitation of employing a firearm during a dangerous felony for the January 11, 2018 shooting of Knoxville Police Officer Jay Williams. King was lodged in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility.
