On Sunday, May 13, 2018, Harlan County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Harlan area. Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle, they discovered Patrick Myers, 36, was operating on a suspended license. A field sobriety test was conducted, determining the subject to be under the influence. A search was conducted which found methamphetamine on his person. Further investigation determined a passenger in the vehicle, 28-year-old Krystal Ward, had an active Kentucky Parole Board Warrant. Both were arrested and lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
