The evening of Wednesday, May 23, 2018, Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a complaint they received on their anonymous tip line about an individual selling illegal drugs near the Garrett park. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies located an individual walking that matched the description given by the caller. When deputies approached the individual, they observed him throw a clear baggie onto the ground, which was later found to contain a white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine. During their investigation, deputies also found scales, plastic baggies, prescription pills and a large amount of cash. Frank London, 30 of Paintsville, was charged with trafficking in cocaine and controlled substance, as well as tampering with physical evidence. He was lodged in the Floyd County Jail.
