The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest around 1:13pm on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Byrd Trailer Park. Deputy Josh Scott responded to a complaint there. Upon arrival, Deputy Scott observed an individual, identified as 48-year-old Regina Griffie, inside and unoccupied residence that did not belong to her. During the arrest, the subject began to scream and kicked the windows of Deputy Scott’s vehicle. Griffie was charged with burglary, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
