Police Warn of Counterfeit Bills Attempting to Pass in Ashland

The Ashland Police Department has issued an alert of counterfeit bills in the area. Ashland Police has received several complaints of counterfeit $100 bills being attempted to pass to local businesses. The bills have failed pen detectors and have a “paper” feel compared to an actual note. The fake bills seen by the police has the same serial number: LGQ 03229158.
