On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, following extensive and ongoing investigations, the Prestonsburg Police Department began executing numerous indictment warrants issued by the Floyd County Grand Jury for various individuals wanted for selling illegal drugs. The wanted individuals were sought for various charges from the grand jury, including, but not limited to, trafficking methamphetamine. Thomas Skeens, of Prestonsburg, was located and arrested on an indictment and found to be in possession of additional drugs and paraphernalia. Kevin Woods, of Allen, was arrested and found to be in possession of a firearm and is a convicted felon. He was on probation from a previous drug trafficking charge and found to also be in possession of a nearly 100 grams of methamphetamine. Additional arrests include Samantha Fyffe and Brandon Anderson. Seth Ousley, who was incarcerated in the Pike County Jail for a recent unrelated arrest for drug trafficking, was served his indictment for an additional offense of trafficking in methamphetamine. Individuals still at large are James Matthew Woods and Scott Jarrell. Anyone with information is urged to call the Prestonsburg Police Department at 886-1010.
