On Friday, May 18, 2018, Two Hazard caregivers were indicted on abuse charges. John Hundley, 42, and Penny Caudill, 43, were indicted by a Perry County Grand Jury were charged with one count of knowingly abusing or neglecting an adult. It was alleged that on or about September 30, 2016, Hundley and Caudill worked as caregivers at Hazard facility providing residential and day training services for individuals with mental and physical disabilities. Hundley was alleged  of dragging an adult day training participant across the floor and onto the front porch of the facility, causing injury. He and Caudill were both acting as caregiver at the time of incident. Arraignment is scheduled for 9am August 16, 2018 in Perry County Circuit Court.
