Man Charged with Felony DUI Following Two Vehicle Crash in Kanawha County

Around 9pm Monday, June 4, 2018, Deputies with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on Warrior Way near Belle. During the investigation, deputies learned that a one-year old child in the vehicle driven by Andrew Tudor was not properly restrained at the time of the crash. The driver of the other vehicle had a head injury as a result of the crash. Occupants in both vehicles were transported to an area hospital for treatment. An interview with Tudor detected signs of impairment, which was confirmed following an evaluation. He admitted to taking a 5mg Percocet pill prior to operating the vehicle. Andrew Tudor, 30, of Dry Branch, West Virginia, was charged with DUI causing serious bodily injury, a felony, and DUI with a minor, a misdemeanor.
