A Florida fugitive was arrested on Friday, June 8, 2018 in Laurel County. The arrest occurred off American Greeting Card Road around 4:35pm. Sandra Thomas, age 59, of Corbin, was charged with being a fugitive from Florida regarding charges of battery, battery and striking or resisting officer without violence, with those charges originating from Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Florida. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. Authorities from Florida advised they will extradite Thomas back to Florida.
