The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made a burglary arrest the afternoon of Friday, June 15, 2018. Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards responded to a residence at off Slate Lick Road where it was determined a subject, identified as 52-year-old Edsel McQueen, forced his way into the residence, causing damage to the door. He unlawfully remained at the residence, where he caused further damage. McQueen was charged with burglary and alcohol intoxication in a public place. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
