The Knox County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in the Warren Camp community on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. The arrest occurred around 12:30am after Deputy Andrew Lawson received information that John Gray, who was wanted on a Knox County indictment warrant, was at a residence on Coon Ridge Drive. When Deputy Lawson arrived at the residence, he made contact with a female, identified as 37-year-old Paula Mills, who said Gray was not at the residence. After receiving permission to search the residence, the suspect was found hiding in a bedroom. John Gray, 37 of Barbourville, was arrested and charged on an indictment of sexual abuse. Mills was also arrested and charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension. Both were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
