Secretary of State, DHS Present Cybersecurity Seminar for Kentucky Attorneys

Secretary of State Allison Lundergan Grimes and the Department of Homeland Security conducted a cybersecurity seminar on Friday, June 15, 2018, for Kentucky attorneys at the Kentucky Bar Association’s annual conference. Grimes and Klint Walker, a cybersecurity advisor for the DHS, presented an overview on Kentucky election security and offered valuable information and tools helpful to attorneys in safeguarding data in their own practice. In April, Grimes announced an expansion of the partnership to train county election officials across the state on cybersecurity and threats to elections. The trainings are some of the first of their kind in the nation.
