The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made an arrested off Gamecock Road in East Bernstadt on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. The arrest occurred after deputies attempted to arrest the subject, identified as 53-year-old Mark Davidson, on a Laurel Circuit Court drug indictment warrant of arrest. When the subject saw deputies, he attempted to flee and struggled with deputies upon arrest. Davidson was charged with trafficking in controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, per the indictment warrant. Additionally, he was charged with resisting arrest and fleeing or evading police. Davidson was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
