Traffic in Letcher County will be impacted on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 on KY 3400 on Fish Pond Road in Jenkins from 9am until 2:30pm, and at the same time on Thursday, June 28, 2018, on KY 3408 on Elk Creek Road at Blackey off KY 7 to replace cross drains that run underneath the pavement. Highway District 12 Superintendent Bill Smallwood said the crew must cut open the roadways to remove the failed cross drains and install new ones, which will then be covered and the pavement put back in place.
