On Friday, June 22, 2018, Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on Caney Fork in Martin after receiving information on the tip line that a female at that residence was wanted on outstanding warrants. The caller also stated they suspected drugs were being sold from the residence based on the amount of traffic in and out of the residence. During the investigation, Sergeants Oliver Little and Kevin Shepherd identified the female at 48-year-old Kelly Bryant and confirmed she was wanted on outstanding warrants. Deputies also discovered 27 grams of crystal meth and drug paraphernalia. Bryant was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and tampering with physical evidence. She was lodged in the Floyd County Jail.
