The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made a DUI arrest at the scene of a traffic crash on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. The arrest occurred around 8:15pm on Parker Road after deputies located the subject, identified as 43-year-old Daniel Mansfield, who had run off the roadway into a hillside. When located, deputies detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver. An investigation was conducted and the subject was determined to be under the influence. Daniel Mansfield was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, failure to wear seatbelts, careless driving, and failure to produce insurance card. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
