The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking assistance in locating an escaped inmate. The inmate, identified as Mark Allen Crouch, escaped around 5:30pm while being transported to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Johnson County. Crouch allegedly assaulted the Martin County Deputy Jailer transporting him, then stole his vehicle. Crouch is described as a white male, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing around 205 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on the right side of his neck with “Riley” and “Elisha” on his left forearm. His chest is also heavily tattooed with “Ohio State” at the top. He was last seen wearing shorts, a hat, and glasses. He also uses the alias “Mark Mills.” If you have any information on the whereabouts of Mark Allen Crouch, contact law enforcement.
