On Monday, July 9, 2018, around 1:40am, Knox County Deputy Andrew Lawson received information that a shooting suspect was at a residence on Redbud Lane in Girdler. The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Clarence Sizemore of Heidrick, was wanted on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Possession of Handgun by convicted felon and wanton endangerment. The charges were the result of Deputy Claude Hudson’s investigation into a shooting complaint that occurred on McDonald Lane in Heidrick on June 14, 2018. Around 3:30am Monday, deputies located Sizemore at the residence. He was arrested and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
