The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals on Monday, July 9, 2018 around 8:15am. The arrests occurred on I-75 after deputies were dispatched to conduct a welfare check on two individuals seen walking northbound off the southbound lanes from a Jeep Grand Cherokee parked on the emergency lane. While speaking with the individuals, a theft victim contacted deputies advising someone had broken into his barn off Filter Plant Road. Some of the stolen items were seen in plain view in the vehicle and additional items were placed in weeds near the vehicle. The individuals, Ralph Brown, 45, and Gary Anderson, 42, both of London, were arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
