The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred the morning of Monday, July 16, 2018. The shooting occurred just after midnight in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, where a man, identified as 25-year-old Corey Ellis, was shot in the arm and leg. Ellis left the scene and met an ambulance before being transported to an area hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
