Smith Fork Road off KY 194 east of Night in Pike County will be closed to all traffic beginning at 7am Tuesday, July 24, 2018 for culvert replacement. The site at mile point 3.7 could be closed through Tuesday, July 31, 2018. No traffic will be allowed on the road for the duration of the project in nighttime or daytime hours. Vincent Hayes with Highway District 12’s Pikeville Section Office said it is possible the project will be finished in less than seven days, but motorists who use the road on a daily basis should be prepared to use an alternate route.
