A South Korean auto parts manufacturer broke ground for a new $50 million facility in West Kentucky on Monday, July 23, 2018. The Murray facility will be the DAE-IL Corporation’s first plant in the United States, creating 120 jobs. Governor Matt Bevin congratulated the company’s leaders on the new facility, saying Kentucky has a proven track record of successfully attracting and integrating businesses into our economy. Company leaders expect the 295,000-square-foot plant, being built in the Murray-West Industrial Park, to open in May 2019. Employees at the new facility will manufacture automotive transmission gears.
