Two Arrested for Burglary After Found Asleep in Laurel County Residence

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of subjects being unlawfully inside a residence on Topton Road the afternoon of Monday, July 23, 2018. Upon arrival, Deputy Jake Miller located two subjects inside the residence, asleep in a bedroom. The subjects did not have permission to be at the residence. Charles Morris, 38, and Beverly Bentley, 53, both of Keavy, were arrested and charged with second degree burglary. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
