On Monday, July 23, 2018, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals around 4:40pm on Campbell Road. Sgt. Robbie Grimes responded to a residence on Campbell Road in reference to a domestic disturbance call. Upon arrival, Sgt. Grimes observed the defendants screaming and cursing loudly in close proximity to other residences. Several witnesses stated that the defendants were cursing and throwing rocks at them. Sgt. Grimes arrested 49-year-old Melinda Lindsey and 51-year-old Ezra Lindsey, both of Corbin, charging them with assault. Both subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
