The Kentucky State Police has joined forces with other members of the 6-State Trooper Project for enforcement of the “Move Over” law. This high-visibility enforcement effort will include state law enforcement in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia. Kentucky State Police spokesman Master Trooper Billy Gregory said the goal is to reduce the number of senseless tragedies that occur from motorists not providing adequate room to law enforcement and emergency personnel working along roadways. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is supporting the campaign with digital message boards over interstates displaying “Move Over” messaging.
