On Wednesday, July 25, 2018, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible domestic dispute at a residence on 2043 Willie Green Road. Deputies arrived at the scene and made contact with the victim. The victim stated that 48-year-old Timothy Taylor became enraged and allegedly assaulted her my grabbing her, punching and scratching her face. The alleged assault took place with children present at the residence. Taylor was also found to have suboxone pills in his pocket and did not have a prescription for them. Taylor was arrested and charged with assault and possession of controlled substance. He was lodged in the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
