On Saturday, July 28, 2018, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence at 1015 Pinehurst Ave in Wheelersburg where a 65-year-old male at that he was attacked in his backyard by two males juveniles. The males approached the victim while he was cutting grass, asking if he would let them cut his grass. The victim later stated they attacked him, shoving him into a building, then falling to the ground where they allegedly hit and kicked him before taking his wallet and leaving the scene. Both suspects were identified as 17-year-old juveniles. They were arrested and charged with felony robbery. They were lodged in the Ross County Juvenile Detention Center.
