Kentucky Power Company has notified Highway District 12 that it plans to pull power lines across the Levisa Fork, old US 23, and US 23 at mile point 3 near Stanville on Sunday, August 5, 2018. Motorists should expect lengthy delays. The work will begin at daybreak and continue into the evening hours. Traffic will be stopped periodically. It will not be safe to have moving traffic underneath the power lines as they are being moved. This work is part of AEP/Kentucky Power’s newly constructed sub-station.
