Kentucky State Police Post 9 Pikeville are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on US 119 in South Williamson community. Post 9 received the call just after 6:30pm on Saturday, August 4, 2018 of a two vehicle crash in the area of 28866 US 119. Upon arrival, Troopers found a vehicle, operated by Miranda Ailiff of Belfry, had crossed the median and struck another vehicle, operated by Amy White of Crum, West Virginia. Ailiff was the only person in her vehicle. White was with her husband and 14-year-old child. As a result of the crash, White was pronounced dead at the scene, while her husband and child were transported to the hospital and later released. Ailiff was charged with driving under the influence and other traffic charges. The accident remains under investigation.
