Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan received a call from the Bell County Detention Center in Pineville around 9:11pm on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, stating two inmates had escaped. Preliminary investigation indicated that 41-year-old David Mosely and 45-year-old Matthew Price, both of Middlesboro, both assaulted detention staff members by spraying one staff member in the eyes with bleach, while the other staff member was assaulted, causing injuries to his ribs. Mosely is described as a white, 6’1” tall, 200 pounds, and bald. Price is described as a white male, 5’9” tall and 170 pounds, with blondish brown hair. Both individuals have multiple tattoos. KSP asks the public to not approach either individual if you see them. If you have any information on these individuals, call 911.
