On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash around 2:23 pm on Grimes Road. Investigating deputies report that apparently, a vehicle driven by Melinda Burns, 47 of London, ran off the roadway and overturned, catching on fire. The driver and a passenger, 40-year-old Carter Nolan, received minor injuries.
