Johnson County Health Department Hosting Diabetes Prevention Community Walks

The Johnson County Health Department is hosting a series of four Diabetes Prevention Community Walks beginning September 22, 2018. The walks are free to the public and the first 100 Johnson County residents to register will receive a free t-shirt. Adults bicycles and fitbits will be given away as door prizes at each walk. There is no mandatory distance to walk. The Johnson County Health Department will also be sharing diabetes prevention information and offering BMI and glucose testing. Registration will begin at 8am the day of the walk. Dates and locations:

September 29, 2018 Dawkins Line- Hager Hill

October 20, 2018 Paintsville Lake- Kiwanis Trail

October 27, 2018 Dawkins Line-Hager Hill
