The Kentucky State Police Post 8 in Morehead responded to a single vehicle traffic collision on US 460 East in the Camargo community of Montgomery County on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Brian Fletcher, age 61, of Jeffersonville, was operating a 1998 Honda Motorcycle westbound when he attempted to pass a vehicle and struck a mailbox and a rock embankment, overturning, and coming to rest in the westbound ditch. Fletcher sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Montgomery County Deputy Coroner Lennie McGuire. The collision remains under investigation.
