Governor Matt Bevin has appointed James Stepp of Tomahawk as Magistrate for the Third District of Martin County. Stepp’s appointment fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Darrell Mills. This appointment will take effect immediately. Stepp will serve until the position is filled in accordance with the results of the November 2018 midterm election, pursuant to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.
