The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest following a crash on Saturday, September 8, 2018. The arrest occurred around 2pm after deputies responded to an accident on Robert E. Cox Road. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies conducted an investigation on the driver. According to investigators, the driver, identified as 70-year-old Henry Rezmer, could barely talk and was unable to walk. The individual said he had been drinking prior to operating the vehicle. Rezmer was charged with DUI and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
