The Office of Kentucky State Treasurer Alison Ball announced on Monday, September 17, 2018, that she has been named the State Financial Officers Foundation’s National Chair. Ball is the first Kentuckian to serve as National Chair of the Organization. Treasurer Ball said she is honored to be elected by state treasurers and financial officers nationwide to serve as National Chair for the foundation. The State Financial Officers Foundation is a 501( c )3 non-profit organization built on promoting good government financial decisions through free market principles. The Foundation was founded on the belief that state financial officers should play a greater role in promoting responsible financial public policy.
