The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a church bus. The bus was stolen from Victory Baptist Church off Hammons Lane. The vehicle was last seen on Sunday and it was noticed missing on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. The vehicle is described as a navy colored Chevrolet 3500 church bus with the name of the church painted on the side of the bus. Reports have been received of a similar vehicle seen in the Laurel County area, but with a brown stripe painted over where the wording for Victory Baptist Church would have been.
