Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post 9 is investigating a two vehicle fatal collision that occurred on KY 195 in the Elkhorn community. At 9:19pm Sunday, September 23, 2018, KSP Post 9 received a call of a two vehicle accident on Marrowbone Creek Road. Troopers responded to the scene and it was determined Brian Causey, 29, from Shelbiana, had lost control of his vehicle and crossed into the oncoming lane of travel, striking another vehicle. Causey was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Pike County Coroner’s office. Toxicology test is pending and the investigation remains open.
