Road alignment will be taking place from downtown Louisa to Walmart at the intersection of KY 2565, KY 2563, and County Road 1529. Darold Slone, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12 Engineering Branch Manager, said this is the continuation of a project that began a few years ago and will continue into next spring. There will be periods when the county road and the side road will be closed. There will be advance notice of closures through message boards, social media posts, and traditional media announcements. This area will be a work zone for several months and traffic patterns may change.
