On Tuesday, September 25, 2018, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Little Broughton Hollow Road in Cannon. During the search, several firearms were located along with over three ounces of suspected methamphetamine. A sheet containing 16 counterfeit $2.00 bills was also located. Tony Moore, 49, was arrested and charged with trafficking in controlled substance, possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Additionally, Christopher Hubbard, 32, was arrested after fleeing into the woods. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
