Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office Looking for Man who Removed his Ankle Monitor

On October 4, 2018, around 4:50pm, Stephen Ray Crowder, Jr. removed his GPS monitoring ankle bracelet that was used to track his whereabouts. Kanawha County Sheriff’s K9 units and other law enforcement agencies were called to the last known GPS location provided by the ankle bracelet, which was on Cline Hollow Road in the Campbells Creek area of Kanawha County. Crowder was not located. Stephen Ray Crowder Jr is described as a 38-year-old white male, standing 6’1” tall, weighing 205 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black colored t-shirt with thin white stripes, blue jeans, and white colored tennis shoes. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911.
