Crash in Knox County Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest

On Friday, October 5, 2018, Knox County Deputy Hunter Luttrell responded to a two vehicle traffic collision on Valentine Branch Road in Hinkle. The operator of one of the vehicles, a 2003 Toyota, involved in the crash had left the scene but returned approximately 30 minutes later. During the investigation, it was learned the Toyota had been reported stolen from Jessamine County. Deputy Luttrell arrested 36-year-old Daniel Halliburton of Nicholasville, charging him with receiving stolen property, leaving the scene of an accident, and license to be in possession. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
