The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two individuals wanted in connection with a shooting incident. The shooting occurred on Friday, October 12, 2018 around 10:28am when a male and his friend were riding 4-wheelers on Labold Avenue in Portsmouth, Ohio when a black car with a white female driver and male passenger, allegedly pulled up, got out of the vehicle, and fired several shots at them. The victim, identified as Jim Smith, had a bullet wound to his arm. The other victim, Billy Arthur, was not injured. The suspects have been identified as 35-year-old Staci Stowards of Wheelersburg, Ohio, and 39-year-old Douglas Jones. They fled the area in a black Mitsubishi Galant with registration HFD1152.
