The Paintsville Police Department is currently investigating an incident at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Officials report that inmates had apparently chipped away at cinder blocks in the wall of the facility that lead to plumbing access area. While no inmates were reported missing, authorities say inmates would have been only one wall away from exiting the jail.
