Man Unresponsive in Knox County Intersection Arrested for DUI

On Thursday, October 25, 2018, around 9am, Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith received a call that a male in a KIA passenger vehicle was in the crossover at the intersection of US25E on Evergreen Road in Flat Lick. The driver was reportedly slumped over. Sheriff Smith and Sgt. Carl Frith arrived on scene and found the driver, identified as 56-year-old Lee Jackson, unresponsive with shallow breathing. The vehicle was on, in drive, with Jackson’s foot on the brake pedal. Narcan was administered and Jackson became alert, breathing regularly. He was treated at Knox County ARH before being taken into custody. He was lodge din the Knox County Detention Center.
