A single vehicle injury crash occurred on Saturday, October 27, 2018, around 9am. A gray 2002 Toyota Corolla was traveling north bound on US 23, just north of the KY RT 114 exit to Prestonsburg, when it left the roadway, striking a guard rail. The driver, identified as 22-year-old Billy Whitt, was ejected from the vehicle and struck the guard rail. He was treated for injuries on scene by the Prestonsburg Fire Department and Trans-Star Ambulance Service of Prestonsburg. The investigation is ongoing.
